
I have just completed my final year of study at The University of Manchester. During my time at university studying Fashion Management I have developed a broad understanding of the fashion retail environment. Alongside university I have completed internships and taken on projects as a free-lance stylist. My devotion to work on these projects alongside university, is an example of my commitment to finding my place in the world of work. Currently I am looking to work in a role where I can draw upon my current knowledge, as well as learn and develop new skills that are essential to my further employability
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
ASSISTANT TO DESIGNER
October 2019 - Present
I have been working with fashion brand VIN + OMI in a universal role assisting them in their operations, As a leading eco fashion label, my work has given me first hand experience of how fashion brands can be sustainable in their operations. In my role as assistant to designers i have:
- Helped secure a further £10,000 in financial sponsorship and numerous product sponsors for the AW19 London Fashion Week show.
- Conducted fittings and outfit allocations for the show.
- Produced PR material and assisted on press releases.
- Assited on the AW19 lookbook shoot.
- Liaised with sponsors and ensured commitments made where honoured.
- Managed and organised Press interviews and Photographers on Show day.
- Worked efficiently and effectively in a team to ensure that Show ran smoothly.
- Location scouting for SS20 show.
- Gained skills in leadership, event management, time management, communication, public relations, design and garment technology
FREELANCE STYLIST
February 2019 - present
University of Manchester (May 2019 – June 2019) I was approached by the University of Manchester to style there ‘Mavericks Campaign’ a collection of 12 individual shoots for the university.
Také Sato (April 2019) I was an assistant stylist under Také on a shoot for Timberland & Christopher Raeburn

Learnt a unique set of skills regarding the retail environment
Gained a broad understanding of the apparel pipeline, strategic managment, ethics and garment technology in the fashion industry.
My knoweldge was then applied in a practical way with my Business Project module which saw me become the finance Director of upCYCLE a sustainable bag company which took donated fabrics an upcycled them into a 2 designs, each selling out during the course of the year.
